Twice Rescheduled, Double the Love: Tying the Knot in the Midst of a Pandemic
Hello, 2021! Last year was tough for everyone but this year doesn’t have to be the same. We are excited to start this year right by sharing more stories of love and romance. While some decided to have their special day on a later date, there were couples who finally tied the knot.
Lix and Cath’s wedding was not the smooth, bump-free ride everyone dreams to have. They planned their wedding for /more than a year/ , waiting for that stress-free wedding day to finally arrive; only to be faced by a challenge nobody saw coming, a pandemic.
Their outdoor intimate wedding was initially scheduled in May of last year but had to be rescheduled to August. If you think that was it – you’re wrong. Due to the implementation of the MECQ, their wedding was again moved to a later date – November of 2020.
Before the year ended, Lix and Cath finally said their vows and sealed their marriage with a kiss. Attended by their loved ones and closest friends, their wedding was both fun and tear-jerking. The newlyweds looked dashing together. These photos by Hello Diaries will show you exactly what we mean.
This wedding was without a doubt a success – considering everything that went down last year. Thankfully, the couple had their coordinatorto help them with everything – down to the smallest details. For other couples who are going through the same thing, Events By Miss P wants to let you know two things: First, always trust your coordinator. They are professionals and will handle situations like this to make sure that you have the best wedding day ever. And second, never lose hope. A pandemic should not get in the way of your union and receiving God’s blessing.
Happy New Year, everyone!
