Playful and adorable – these are two among the words best suited to describe this wedding. The whole day was a combination of light mood and bright atmosphere, both literally and figuratively. Everyone wore a smile on their faces which made this day even more memorable.
The natural colors of the environment became the finishing touches for the already beautiful day. Ladies of the entourage wore blue dresses – that made them looked even more stunning. The bride was pretty and dashing in her mermaid-cut gown that highlighted her curves. The groom on the other hand, turned heads in his blue three-piece suit.

JC and Joanne had envisioned a sustainable and minimalist wedding, surrounded by their closest family and friends, and enveloped in the ethereal austerity of nature.
With the breathtaking view of a 60 million year-old limestone formation, the Sierra Madre mountain ranges, Laguna de Bay, and the Metro Manila Skyline, they have found the perfect place to celebrate their love and commitment at Masungi Georeserve in Baras, Rizal. The advocacy that they share had a big role for the couple to choose this as the place to hold their memorable day.
As a conservation area, the venue was a great fit for Joanne and JC’s sustainable and minimalist rustic themed wedding. The radiant glow of the stunning couple definitely complemented the beauty of this sanctuary. The bride looked elegant with her beige dress lined with silver white details and simple pearl earrings while the groom looked dashing with his brown three-piece suit. The simple ensemble supplemented the warm, earthy tones with vivid green styling of K by Cunanan, and blended organically with the forest and mountains surrounding the venue. The rustic three-tiered cake, and the succulents which were given away as souvenirs, were also a nice touch to complete the final look of the setup.
The ceremony for the exchange of vows started when JC stylishly arrived on a motorcycle. After a few minutes, Joanne walked down the aisle formed by their entourage who were holding leaves like swords when a queen arrives. Everyone was in awe, especially JC who was in tears when he saw his bride. The ceremony ended with a sweet kiss and the throwing of flower petals by the guests.
Before the dinner, JC and Joanne had their first dance as husband and wife. It was a magical moment as the sun set in the backdrop while they held each other close, swaying along to a song close to their heart, happy in their own little world.
Despite having only two (2) months to prepare for this dream wedding, Joanne and JC pulled it off with the help from the team in Masungi Georeserve, and Kredin, The Events Engineer as their on-the-day coordinators.
