LookbookMNL: Sheer and Strings

November 19, 2014

Speaking of collaboration that we mentioned in our last post, it looks like we are going to realize another good team in here. This editorial shoot showcases the sheer wedding collection of Jazel Sy. The collection is femininely sexy. The silhouette will show off the work of body of every woman who wears these—every curve and every slope. Sy proves that she is here in this industry for a long haul. The feminine looks are beautifully contrasted, though, with the strong make up by Mariah Santos.

Nice Print Photography, meanwhile, solidifies their position as one of the top of minds in the wedding scene. They are a force to be reckoned with, indeed. This team lowers the contrast image control, giving a soft touch for this shoot which complements Sy’s collection and the mood of the theme.

This shoot would, of course, not be great if not because of the exemplary works of other wedding suppliers, especially Oh Happy Day Events+Design. This team, together with SEPA Accessories Cebu, chooses the right materials to give a Life-in-Rosy-Hues vibe which is matched with the calligraphic skills of Mica Samar.

Oh Happy Day Events+Design exceedingly meets the requirements to achieve this exquisite concept. Kudos to you! We also commend Michael Badang Rueda for those cascades and to Sugarplum Pastries for those delicate cakes and pastries.

Cupid’s Garden

November 17, 2014

Perhaps you already have a venue where to hold your dream wedding reception. But whether or not you consider a hotel function room, by the shore, or even outside going for a country vibe, Meteora in Tagaytay would almost always cross your mind, wouldn’t it? Look at the lovely pair, Brian and Carina, their wedding looks even lovelier in this white-clean-rustic setting of Sonya’s Garden. This place is a gem, indeed.

Let us also commend the works of Randolf Evan who takes these dreamy photos. With Evan’s skills, the place is enhanced and maximized. The setting would not be inviting, however magnificent the place is, if the photographer does not know how to utilize and bring it to the next level. Evan knows this. And he does. Also, thanks to The Floral Artist by Joel Faller for the delicate styling. The photos look tastier because of these. Looks like Evan and Faller make a good team. More collaboration between the two, we hope.
