“Everyone in the eight years that we’ve been together said that we’ve been perfect together. The only reason we are perfect together is that we have a perfect God in the center of this, and let’s make sure we keep that perfect God in the center of all this at all times. I don’t say this in public, we only do this in private, but I love you, Celestine!” – Paul Soriano
And the celebrities who get hitched continue. The latest one is Direk Paul Soriano and the multimedia star, Toni Gonzaga. These two finally got wed yesterday after 8 years of being together as boyfriend and girlfriend. The two walked down the aisle in a church in Taytay, Rizal and went straight to Rockwell Tent for the reception. Unlike any other celebrity wedding, Soriano-Gonzaga’s was more intimate and exclusive. Only close relatives and friends were there to witness this sacred union.
This silver and grey themed wedding was a success. Metrophoto once again dominated this industry by their fairy tale approach when it comes to capturing endearing moments. Meanwhile, Gonzaga was divinely beautiful in a Vera Wang body fitted gown and was complimented by Krist Bansuelo‘s flair in make up. Of course, the groom was a dashing one; he looked like a prince in that black tuxedo. The two looked good together and perfect for each other. We remember the last scene in ‘Starting Over Again’ where Ginny, played by Gonzaga herself, met Soriano, who had a cameo role as an Engineer, and told him, “Your timing is just perfect”. Indeed, their BIG day was a perfect timing for them. They are perfect together.

As the cute little boy’s placard warns, Ben and Samantha were given ‘Last Chance to Run’, but they did not. Instead of running away, both ran to each other. They willingly braved walking down the aisle and being in front of many witnesses of their union. They started running toward a happier life together.
What’s interesting about this wedding is that it was held at the famous The Manor Camp John Hay in Baguio City. Not only it was a tourist spot for many, but it was an important place for the coming together of the two. Just imagine if running away was on their minds, they would have a hard time because of the craggy and not flat topography.
We thank Ben and Samantha and C. Yang Photography for sharing these beautiful photos from this consecrated event.
