Marriage is between two people, but wedding, as an event, is a family affair. This is true especially here in the Philippines wherein the wedding is being attended by close relatives and, to some extent, the whole barangay. You may often here from old kins, “You invite this and that”, and little did you know, the number of guests has increased to a hefty headcount.
As for Martin and Melissa, their union was witnessed by only family and close friends. With as intimate as this, the couple felt like the reception was just a family dinner but a meaningful one.
